Fake MAC Brushes

32 Piece Brush Set

I really wanted  some more brushes and I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for them...so I took to ebay, and found this site that sold brushes really great looking brushes. I wanted the ones my girl Rofasho Jones has the 32 pc set. I found them and ordered them. It took about 3wks for me to get them, due to the holiday season. Once I  got them out the packaging they were in this clear bag.  The name on the bag... MAC! I was like yay a I got some new MAC brushes. Now let me be honest, I can't afford to pay $100 for a brush set no matter whose name is on it. I know that you need good quality brushes and they cost...but for the makeup budget lover like myself, I want good quality brushes without high-end prices and there's some really inexpensive quality brushes on the market.
I purchased this set for $13.99 with free shipping, that's not a bad deal for a budget saver.

They come in a handy and portable roll up leather case, and each brush packed in a plastic sleeve. Brushes are made from natural animal hair. And has MAC imprinted on the handles of the brushes. Brush Length: approximately 7.9”. After looking at them closely I saw that for the money I spent they aren't all that bad. Except for that awful acrylic smell. You can easily remove that smell and the dust that's embedded inside by simply washing your brushes before use.

This Set Includes

   6 x Blush / Powder Brushes
   14 x Eyeshadow Brushes
   3x Angle Concealer Brushes
   1 x Eyebrow Brush
1 x Sponge Eye Shadow Brush
   1 x Lip Liner Brush
   1 x Eyebrow Comb Brush
   2 x Eye Liner Brush
   1 x Eyelash Comb Brush
   1 x Lip Brush
   1x Extra Brush
1x leather case

I come to find that I'm really loving these brushes the more I look at them and use them. They may not be the real deal; but they are good and not a bad price for what can be a costly penny. At the bottom are REAL MAC brushes!

MAC's Prep & Prime Skin Visage

OMG!!! I have to share this new info with you guys, a few days ago I went to MAC and made my second purchased  from there! I'm to floored lol! My first purchase was the Blacktrack gel fluid liner, which I'm so in love with and wonder how could I have been sleeping on this fabulous gel liner. Now I do have elf's gel liner but I really don't care to much for it. Mac's gel liner is the bomb!!!! I'm in awe of this treasure trove. I purchased the Prep & Prime Skin Base Visage, heard so much about it from the ladies on YouTube- thinking to self...saying..."(self, you need this. Get it and see how it works.)

This is just a swatch of my hand with prep & prime. As you can see that the left side that the foundation is just sitting on my hand giving it a dull ashy appearance. On the right side you can see that the same foundation is much smoother and gives an airbrushed feel. You really can see the difference with this primer.

As you can see here's another swatch and it's with eyeshadows...I took a few e/s to see how well it stands out, the colors really POP! Now i know that I can use it as a primer for my eyes too!
As you can see there are many uses for this wonderful primer! I've found my new facial primer.
On my hands is shimmer e/s so you really can't see how brilliantly vibrant the shades are while being smooth and POPPING! LOL!

I wanted to share with you guys about my new MAC purchase. Building my makeup collection with some high-end items. MAC is one of those luxuries that every woman should have from time to time.
Nothing wrong with splurging on yourself when you have the funds to do it. Little by little I'll have everything I want.

Elf Gel Liner vs MAC Fluidliner

I Love the elf cosmetics line I'm a faithful & loyal customer who have made many purchases from them in the past and I must say everything wasn't kosher, I got a liquid eyeliner pen and it was dried out. Next, my beauty book neutral edition was all broken and chipped up- understand that it can be the product settling during transit.

Tell me why is that I purchase a cream eyeliner for $3 and once I get it the appearence isn't exactly what I had invisioned my eyeliner to look like. It appeared to look dried out. Elf has some really cute colors, but they need to head back to the drawing boards to find a better formula for their cream liners.

Pros:

For a budget diva who loves a bargain. I made an impulsive decision to purchase a MAC product. It's been nearly 10 years since I bought any expensive cosmetics; so this was really a true treat for myself. You can say that I popped my cherry lol! After watching numeruos youtube videos, chatting with hundreda of ladies, and they all say that MAC's Fluideliner is a great eyeliner I must agree with the masses; for I love it- ther's not tugging or pulling, non irrating, creamy texture just the oppsite of elf's cream liner in every way; price wise MAC's fluideline is $18 which means get what you pay for.
You want quality then you must spend the money for that quality. I didn't mind spending $18 on a product that delivers what I'm looking for & from my cream eyeliner. I just wish that MAC would come out with more colors for the summer.

elf gel liner (navy) mac fluidliner(blacktrack)
 Pros:
  • Smooth creamy texture
  • Non irriating
  • Long wear
  • Good quality
  • Fabulous shades

Cons:
  • Price
  • No brush included with liner
  • not enough colors

What I found to be interesting is the weight of both products, elf has more grams than MAC.
MAC Fluidline 3g  ELF Cream Liner 4.7g

  • Great Price
  • Brush included
  • beautiful shades

Cons:
  • Smudge-proof
  • water-proof
  • irriating
  • not easy to work with
  • dry
