COVERGIRL QUEEN COLLECTION NATURAL HUE

image
I’ve tried alot of foundations in my time and some are worthy to be praised, while others aren’t worrhy to be in your prensence. Then there are a few that will make you want to smack yo mama (just joking, don’t smack mama and get hurt).
I have never tried any CoverGirl foundations, for they lack shades for women of color. Just like Revlon does. Women of color may need about 2-3 different shades to match our own natural shade.

While I was out replenshing on my foundation, I was going to pick up my trusty Revlon Photo Ready or Maybellines Fit Me foundations, I’ve mixed those two together and got awesome results. In my haste shopping along side my husband I just grabbed any foundarion that was sitting in my face. Needless to say I wasn’t feeling what I purchased, but since it’s all I have may as well bound with my purchase.

I have the CoverGirl QUEEN COLLECTION Natural Hue Foundation in Q730 warm caramel
Now, for anyone whose tried this please share your thoughts. I was very surprised at this foundation
and the fact it looks great against my skin. YAY! FOUND A TRUE MATCH! Oil-free, won’t be clogging up my pores. Moisturinzing that helps improve condition of your skin, continuous hydration all day, skin feels soft and smooth. It works the moment you apply it. In the end a soft, smooth healthy even finish. You’ll feel like your wearing nothing. It’s 30ml (1oz) small bottle. Cost for this was $4.98 at my local Walgreens.
If you haven’t tried this foundation, please do so many shades to chose from and you’ll love the results I do and I may have a NEW LOVE for CoverGirl.

Revlon Photo Ready Vs Maybellines FitMe

Foundation is a skin coloured cosmetic applied to the face to create an even, uniform colour to the complexion, to cover flaws, and, sometimes, to change the natural skintone. Foundation applied to the body is generally referred to as 'Body painting.

Coverage:
Coverage refers to the opacity of the makeup, or how much it will conceal on the skin.
  • Sheer is the most transparent and contains the least amount of pigment. It will not hide discolorations on the skin; however, it can minimise the contrast between the discoloration and the rest of the skin tone. Although pigment technology has evolved dramatically since 2004, the traditional protocol for sheer foundations called for pigment to compromise 8–13% of the finished formula.
  • Light can cover unevenness and slight blotchiness, but is not opaque enough to cover freckles. It contains 13–18% pigment.
  • Medium coverage can, when set with a tinted (instead of translucent) powder, cover freckles, discolorations, blotchiness, and red marks left by pimples. It will contain 18–23% pigment.
  • Full coverage is very opaque, and used to cover birthmarks, vitiligo, hyperpigmentation and scars. It is sometimes referred to as “corrective” or “camouflage” make-up. In general it will contain up to 35% pigment, though professional brands, designed for use on stage, can contain up to 50% pigment.

Revlon PhotoReady Makeup - for poreless, airbrushed skin in any light. Photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light to erase every flaw. Complete, yet undetectable coverage. Soft, luminous finish. And gives you an amazing finish. I love this foundation for what it does. My color is CARAMEL.

- Oil free
- Fragrance free.
- SPF 20

My Recommendations:

FitMe Foundation

Why You'll Love It

It's makeup that fits you. I have to admit that it's not really a foundation more like a sheer tinted moisturizer with color. After hearing alot of people taking about that they don't like it,well to each's own...everyone doesn't have the same skin therefor I personally have to see what I like and don't like, I raely go by what others say when it comes to foundation cause what works for others may not work for me vice versa. So I keep in mind my needs and decide from my own experience.
  • No oils, no waxes, no nonsense
  • Natural coverage that leaves skin the way it was meant to be…fresh, breathing, natural
  • Exclusive translucent base and lightweight pigments allow skin's natural highs and lows to show through
  • Non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested

For Best Results

Apply smoothly and evenly to your face and blend with your fingertips.

Conclusion I would have to say that both are doing a great job and I love one and like the other lol. If you wanna try either one I would say go for it, if it's not for you than give away and case close, no really, they are good products and I would continue to use them..... FitMe Powder is much better than the liquid foundation.
